The forests of the San Jacinto wilderness are awesome! In those early days it was like getting a glimpse of what the Sierra might be like. I got some really great campsites in this area despite some spooky Cougar stuff. Not to mention Idyllwild was so incredible and easily one of my favorite trail towns. …
